I am a stay at home mom of 2 toddlers ages 4 & 5. Step mom to a 11 year old. I am from Texas(Fort Hood area). Met my DH there(1st CAV) and our 2 kids were born there. We are currently in CO(4th ID) wishing to go back to Fort Hood. CO is way to expensive for our 1 paycheck. Hoping to go back after his next deployment.

Hubby is from MT. Most of his family is still there spread about the state. His mom is in Kalispell and his brother & grandmother are in Billings.
We both play Everquest. We are both looking forward to the release of Vanguard. I love working on cars/trucks. I also do a lot of crafts and love baking and cooking. We like to go out (when we can afford to and have a sitter) dancing, shooting pool, hanging with friends and drinking. ~We are country thru and thru but still like rock and everything else too~
We re very easy to get along with and are very down to earth. We love the military, our family and each other with all our hearts.

Been awhile...

since I have posted anything here.

My spouse is deploying soon, very soon. We still haven't gotten married yet...it is only a piece of paper. Ah anyways! We will soon enough I guess. In our eyes and everyone elses we are married. That is all that matters really.

The kids are doing good and loving school. Christmas isn't gonna be much of anything this year. I have wishlists made for them on Walmart.com and a site called wishpot.com for when I can afford to buy them anything or if someone else wanted to get them something. Most of the stuff on them are books, music cds, games and lots of clothes. There are other things to that we need on there also. A wish list is just that a wish list. I have them on Singlerose.com also to try to make Christmas a little brighter. It isn't gonna be the same with Vern gone. But this isn't the first Christmas he hasn't / won't be with us and it won't be the last. This deployment will span 16 months roughly and that means this Christmas and next Christmas without him.

Other then that I am just trying to figure out what to occupy my time with while he is gone. I have the kids. I am hoping I can get some work out stuff to slim down some. Maybe make dreamcatchers and work on scrapbooks. I guess time will tell.

I just received a wish for a "Solemn All Souls' Day". I thought that was a great idea. I get so carried away in the celebration of the eve before All Saints' Day (Halloween) that I forget it is part of a duet--the partner of All Souls' Day.
