About Me: My name is Shannon and I'm 22 years old. I have some wonderful friends, and an amazing man who's in the Army, and just left for Iraq. He'll be gone something like 15 months :( I miss him all the world, and he is always in my thoughts.

I'm extremely laid back, and very social. I can get along with just about anyone. Not too much going on in my life at the moment...so I'll wirte more later.

Time for an update!

It's been a while, so I've decided it's time for an update!

My, well boyfriend, is now what I'd like to call my FIANCE :) We've decided to get married while he's here for r&r. While this isn't uncommon, it's very exciting to me. Neither of us can wait. Now the dilemma is deciding whether to try to plan a wedding for r&r, or just do a civil ceremony, and have a larger ceremony later...any suggestions?

He's in Iraq right now, doing well. Things have recently gotten busier, so my spoiled little self is still adjusting to not talking to him everyday. But life is good, I'm working to keep busy. Saving money. I plan to move as soon as he gets home.

Heyy! Yea I'm definitely glad there are sites and stuff like this out there, it helps. My boyfriend is training with the Special Forces right now. And I keep all the soldiers in Iraq in my prayers! Stay strong <3<3
