IT I S A SHAME WHEN IT COMES TO THE MILITARY AND THE SERVICES OUR GUYS DO AND THEN THEIR LEAVE IS TRYING TO BE TAKING AWAY FROM THEM .ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY HAVEN'T BEEN HOME SINCE THEIR R&R OF LAST YEAR AND THEY DID THEIR 15 MONTHS IN IRAQ AND HAVE NOT SEEN THEIR FAMILY.I BELIEVE WHEN THEY COME HOME FROM IRAQ THEIR NEEDS AND THEIR FAMILIES NEEDS SHOULD COME FIRST..THANK EVEERYONE FOR LISTENING...

I Just Wanted To Let Everyone Know That My Son Will Be Back In The States From Iraq On March 16th And Me And A Couple Of Friends Of Mine are Going To North Carollina To Spend His First Weekend Home Which Is Easter Weekend With Him..I Am So Excited And For All Of My Friends On Here I Thank God For Having All Of You To Get Me Through This Last 15Months And I Will Be Here For All Of You...May God Bless All Of You And Your Loved Ones And Keep All Safe...YOUR FRIEND ARMYMOMPAM

Final Inspection

The soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his jump boots were to shine
Just as brightly as his brass.

"Step forward now, you soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"

The soldier squared his shoulders
Said, "No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint.

I've had to work most Sundays
And at times my talk was tough.
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.

But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep...
Though I worked alot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep.

And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.

I know I don't deserve a place
Amoung the people here,
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.

If you've a place for me here, Lord,
It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much
But if you don't I'll understand."

There was a silence all around the throne
Where saints had often trod
As the soldier waited quietly,
For the judgement of God.

"Step forward now, you soldier,
You've borne your burdens well,
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
